Christmas 2010

Christmas was pretty awesome this year. We kept things fairly low key and it was nice not to stress so much over everything like I usually do. We all did Christmas morning with my parents and it worked out great! I took a ton of pictures, but narrowed it down to a select few. ; )

Alexis' Blog

We went to Parent Teacher Conference today and Alexis' teacher let us know how much she loves to write. Alexis is also supposed to be working on her typing skills. So, we decided to start a blog for Alexis and her writings. Super cute. Check it out: http://lollipopspot.blogspot.com/

Halloween 2010.

Alexis decided she wanted to be a rock star for Halloween and Jaden decided to be an army man. We had a good time figuring out these costumes. I made Alexis' tutu and I'm glad that it turned out. We had a pretty good day. We went to the ward trunk-or-treat, went trick or treating in a few neighborhoods and saw Grandpa Steve at home after that. Then we topped of the night with a little Hocus Pocus. That is such a cute movie.

Monroe.

We got the most adorable little min pin chihuahua mix this week. The people we bought her from got her from the Humane Society originally. She was abused and so she is a little bit skiddish. She seems to really prefer women over men. She is the sweetest thing ever and loves to cuddle. After losing our dog Max to a car earlier this year, she is a much needed addition to our family.

Incredible Pizza, The Fair

We went to Joe's job, Incredible Pizza, on Friday. We've been several times and the kids have a blast every time. Today we went to the fair, it was a lot of fun! Sorry, the pictures aren't excellent quality as I took them with my cell phone.

Jaden turned 6!

Jaden turned 6 on September 7th. We went to Applebee's, opened presents, saw a movie, and then topped it off with cupcakes.

Back to School

I took some pictures of the kids when school started. Alexis started the 3rd grade and Jaden just started Kindergarten. He is one of the oldest in his class since he missed the deadline last year. He was VERY excited to finally be going to big kid school. I love their teachers, and they are loving school!
